About Jess
My name is Jess and I have just started my first year at Architecture school.
I taught a physics club when doing A-levels and I was inspired by how students often needed topics explained in a slightly different way to how their teachers explained it in order for it to click.
I loved being able to help and see that my understanding of the subject could help others.
I have also had experience in teaching children sailing theory, which helped me understand that every student is different and should use different teaching techniques in order to thrive in their subjects- I would love to be able to help my students achieve this.

At A-level I took Physics, Maths, Art and an EPQ, which means I am good at time management and prioritising deadlines.
I find it best to work directly off the exam board specification, and colour-code things my students our comfortable with, need some work with, and struggle with. This helps to split time up equally and make sure nothing is missed.
I am flexible with times and hours of lessons, however I suggest 1 hour 30 minute lessons, with 40 minute sessions and 10 minute break. this is what I have found to be most productive with studying.
I am available for lessons of students doing GCSE's or A-level's in either physics or maths.
My A-level exam boards were OCR A for physics and edexcel for maths, so these are the courses I know the best however I am happy to teach any exam board and study the specification before hand in case there are any variations
