Approach to Tutoring:

In my tutoring sessions, I prioritize a personalized approach tailored to each student's unique learning style and goals. I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills to their fullest potential.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:

I employ a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary approaches to teaching art. This includes focusing on fundamental principles such as composition, perspective, colour theory, and light and shadow. I also incorporate hands-on demonstrations, constructive feedback, and guided practice sessions to help students refine their techniques and artistic vision.

Typical Length of a Lesson:

Each lesson typically spans 60 minutes, allowing sufficient time for instruction, practice, and feedback. However, I'm flexible and can adjust the lesson length based on the student's preferences and needs.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:

With over 10 years of experience as an artist and 7 years of experience as a tutor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my teaching practice. I hold a bachelor's degree in fine art and have received specialized training in gesture drawing, oil painting, and mixed media. I have held several exhibitions nationally and internationally. Additionally, I regularly participate in workshops, exhibitions, and continued education to stay updated with the latest developments in the art world.

Who Are My Lessons For:

My lessons suit students of all levels, from beginners looking to explore their artistic interests to intermediate and advanced artists seeking to refine their skills. I welcome students of all ages, from children to adults, who are passionate about drawing, painting, live sketching, and oil painting.
