About Seoyun

Hello, I'm Yun (Seoyun). I'm a recent graduate of BA Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London. Also, I received education on realistic drawing and painting techniques in the most prominent art school in Seoul, Korea for 6 years. After that, I moved to London and studied more of contemporary art and the conceptual side of it at the university. In my final year, I was helping 6th form/college students with their portfolios as a mentor. Currently, I am working as a part-time teaching assistant in both a primary school and Goldsmiths, University of London. Art education is my passion; it is a space where everyone can share their own knowledge and experience. Also, I find it fascinating that improving skills in art can also expand your range of expression. I'm looking forward to meeting you and hearing more about your art journey!

About the lesson

My teaching style is structured lessons, focused on improving your skills. In the first session, we are going to talk about your aim for this lesson, your learning style, and your current position in this journey. This is to provide a tailored lesson for your needs/learning style preferences, including the research methods for further individual studies. I can teach: life drawing, acrylic painting, watercolour painting, realistic drawing and painting, collages, and mixed media. About the lesson -Open for any age group -Beginner to Intermediate -Each session is an hour long, but can be longer upon request. -In person/Online (For in-person classes, I can travel up to 10km) (Free 30-minute taster session is Online) If you are serious about enhancing your skills and actually being good at it, then this is for you!

Outside of the regular teaching time, there will be tons of individual study materials provided. This includes: research materials, useful websites, PDFs, gallery/exhibition information and potentially including invitations/discounts on them. Materials are not provided except occasionally.
