About Arun

I am an An Architectural and Cinematic Visualiser and professional Artist, currently specialising Art Design for film and television.

I have taught design, painting and art history for many years teaching all stages of the artistic process from conception to refined illustration of ideas. For three years I have tutored pupils in predominately in Art, all of whom achieved above their target grades, or A stars.

I have experience running life drawing classes, and tutorials in a range of mediums including technical drawing, lino printing and photography.

This supplements my own illustration, painting and illumination which I often do freelance and for commissions.

About the lesson

My teaching always begins with a precise identification of the students ambitions, targets and difficulties, and tailoring a plan for the pupil to achieve their ambitions. Depending on the time frame, I split these targets and limitations into short term and long term objectives.

Within lessons, I apply a toolkit which I have developed personally, and which has been moulded by my own experiences of both teaching and being taught to offer the student the skills necessary to develop their proficiency. Often this requires refining skills which have been taught badly and an initial period of careful attentiveness, so that the student can properly develop artistically, and see the benefits of independent work.

A charge a cancellation fee of £10 if lessons are cancelled less than 24hrs prior (unless in cases of emergency)
