About Malyna

I like to make sure my students are enjoying their lessons and are able to learn at their own pace so they can be confident in their understanding of the subject. I have successfully taught adults and children who have never drawn a portrait before how to sketch their own self-portrait and I've been told multiple times that I'm a patient teacher. About the lesson

I enjoy teaching how to draw and/or paint portraits, landscapes, animals, 3D objects, buildings, etc. with pencils, colored pencils, oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, markers, acrylic paint, and oil paint. I have art supplies as well as sketch paper, erasers, blending tortillons (for shading), etc. but if you have your own, please bring them! :) I usually show my students how to draw step by step by drawing a step first so the student can see how, having the student draw the step that I just drew, make any necessary corrections, and then continue onto the next steps in the same way. Tips on how to clean/care for art supplies are included in the lesson. Please note that my lessons are either online or in a public place.
