About Gigi
My background: 18 years as a graphic designer, years of painting/art studies of multiple mediums at Weston College, England and New York Academy of Art. Then I became an art instructor a few years back, teaching oil, acrylic, drawing, watercolor, pastel and life drawing at a small local art school. Now I have become a personal Art Tutor, as I enjoy the 1-1 aspect, helping people develop more confidence to grow by experimenting, and embracing their mistakes as part of their art, and mainly find their own style.

I aim to build confidence with a strong foundation of the basics, and offer a step by step process through to a deeper knowledge and technique, to develop confidence in your independence as an artist. With personal 1 to 1 attention, I break down each new stage customized to fit the current stage/experience of my student. With each new process I will create paint-along demos for practical practice, so you can keep record your process. My main emphasis is to take the formality and overwhelming practical side of art, make it more of a relaxing and enjoyable creative experience.
