About Gaby
Welcome! I'm Gaby – Your Dedicated Foundation Phase Tutor Hello and welcome! My name is Gaby, and I’m currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching. I’m passionate about working with young learners and helping them develop strong foundations in Mathematics, English, and Life Skills, including Beginning Knowledge, Physical Education, and Drama. I believe every child has the potential to succeed with the right support, encouragement, and teaching style. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs and learning pace. I use creative teaching methods like games, storytelling, movement, visual aids, and even basic coding activities to make learning exciting and meaningful. As a tutor, I am: Professional and reliable Patient and approachable Organized with well-planned lessons Focused on building confidence and real understanding I am fluent in English and can assist Afrikaans-speaking learners as well. My Tutoring Approach – Gaby
As a passionate Foundation Phase teacher, my approach to private tutoring is learner-centred, creative, and adaptable. I focus on building each child’s confidence by creating a warm, supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace.
My Methodology & What Makes Me Unique
What sets me apart is my ability to make lessons interactive, fun, and meaningful. I use a variety of techniques such as:

What Students Can Expect from My Lessons
