About Henry
I have been tutoring for just over a year with local clients, and I'm now trying Superprof. I am studying an integrated Masters course at University of Bath in Mechanical Engineering. I am doing this for the same reason I am tutoring, I really love Maths and Physics! I've also always enjoyed teaching. I started off peer mentoring but grew to tutoring, and found working hard with a student to put them in better stead an incredibly rewarding student. My desire in life is to do a good job. In the few things I commit to, I strive to be excellent. Tutoring is one of those few things, and it is no different.

In hour-long sessions, we focus on a core idea, building up confidence and intuition in that area, so the student can excel in the weekly set homework. I design the homework individually for each student after our session to ensure it is most helpful at targeting their weaknesses and building up confidence in those areas. I'm friendly and enjoy my sessions with the students, they do also (at least that's what I hear!) I will teach in a way that is most engaging for the student. For example, using Desmos graphing tool to allow the student to play with straight line equations, having to figure out what each different variable controls. I'm sure that if you choose me as your tutor, we can work diligently together, boosting your maths, physics or further maths skills, and even instil an enjoyment for these subjects as well!
