About Vincent

I am an ARSM diploma-level pianist with a Distinction and over a decade of experience playing piano. Piano has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember and having followed the ABRSM route through my musical training, I understand the discipline, patience and confidence required to progress through graded exams.
I teach online piano lessons for beginners and intermediate students, including children, teenagers, and adults. I am happy to teach complete beginners from scratch, as well as students who already play and want to improve their technique and who want to prepare for their ABRSM exams. Furthermore, I can teach in both English and Chinese.

About the lesson

I take a friendly, structured approach to piano lessons, focusing on building strong foundations while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace, making sure they feel confident before moving on. Lessons usually include a mix of technique, note reading, rhythm, and learning pieces, with clear guidance on how to practise effectively between sessions.

Lessons are typically 1 hour long, allowing enough time to work through new material, improve technique, and answer any questions. I hold ARSM piano qualification, achieved at age 14, and have also completed Music GCSE, giving me a solid understanding of both practical and theoretical aspects of music.

My lessons are best suited for beginners up to Grade 4 level, including children, teenagers, and adult beginners. I aim to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students can enjoy progress without pressure.
