About Pravalika

I am a BFA in Animation (Distinction) and Master’s in UX Design (Distinction) graduate with a deep love for art and creativity. From detailed pastel drawings to vibrant paintings and illustrations, art has always been my way of expressing stories, emotions, and ideas. Teaching allows me to share this passion and help others experience the joy of creating. I believe art is for everyone — whether you’re a complete beginner, a hobbyist, or preparing for a professional portfolio. My goal is to make lessons inspiring, encouraging, and skill-building, so you not only learn techniques but also develop your own creative style. I teach because I know how transformative art can be. It builds confidence, sparks imagination, and allows you to see the world differently. Watching my students grow — from hesitant first strokes to confident, expressive work — is the most rewarding part of what I do. With a mix of traditional fine art skills and modern design knowledge, I bring a unique perspective to each lesson, making sure they’re engaging, practical, and tailored to you.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your skill level, pace, and creative interests. I focus on building strong fundamentals in drawing, painting, illustration, pastel art, and design, while encouraging you to develop your own artistic style. You’ll learn: • Techniques in acrylic, watercolour, and pastel art • Drawing skills including shading, perspective, and composition • Illustration methods for both traditional and digital mediums • Colour theory, mood, and visual storytelling • How to prepare and present a professional portfolio Each class combines practical demonstrations, guided exercises, and personalised feedback. I believe in creating a relaxed yet productive environment where creativity thrives. Whether you are a beginner, hobbyist, or aspiring professional, my aim is to help you confidently express ideas through art.
