About Yakira
I am someone that enjoys being in community and helping others. My tutoring style is more of a self-discovery for everyone to feel more confident in their individual skills. Art school has allowed me to learn different art techniques from painting, drawing, and sculpture. Mixed media is my specialty since it’s known to combine different materials.

After many years attending art school, I have focused my teaching on the value of having individual creative talents, instead of a collective form of teaching. I allow each student to express themselves in a way that feels comfortable to them so that we can keep enjoying the process of making art and developing your skill.
