About Navera
Hi! I’m Navera, a biotechnology undergraduate student with a 3.9 GPA and 3 years of experience as a private tutor, specializing in IGCSE and AS/A level tutoring. I personally achieved 8 A*'s and 4 A's across my IGCSEs and A levels thanks to my study notes and personal techniques, which I share with all my students. Being a university student myself, I remember how stressful my high school exams were. I bring a fresh perspective to my lessons, connecting with my students, and making them feel comfortable first and foremost. Besides academics, I am a senator in my university's student government association as well as president of my university's Philosophy Club. I am a well-rounded individual who balances academics and extracurricular activities, and look forward to teaching these skills to younger students. I firmly believe a love of learning is one of the most important things you can develop in your life, and I try to instill this in all of my students.

Being a university student myself, I remember quite vividly how stressful high school was. This is why I think it's important to build a connection with my students, to show them I bring a fresh perspective, being someone from the same generation who understands them and their concerns.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, though I adjust session length based on the student’s age and attention span. Most of my experience is with middle and high school students, particularly those preparing for their IGCSEs and AS/A level exams.
