About Travis
Hi, I’m Travis — a dedicated Mathematics tutor from South Africa specializing in Grades 8–12. I work with CAPS, IEB, and Cambridge learners, helping them build strong foundations and prepare confidently for exams.
I’m currently pursuing a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics through UNISA while working toward actuarial exams, which means I bring strong analytical thinking and clear structure into every lesson. My goal is not just better marks, but real understanding and confidence.

My lessons focus on understanding first, marks second — because confident students perform better in exams. I help learners understand why mathematical methods work, not just how to memorise steps.
I tutor Grades 8–12 Mathematics (CAPS, IEB, and Cambridge), and each lesson is structured, interactive, and adapted to the learner’s pace. We work through examples step by step, address gaps in fundamentals, and practice exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy.
I create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how real progress happens.
