About My Teaching Approach As a dedicated tutor specialising in A-level and GCSE Physics and Mathematics, I strive to make challenging concepts accessible and engaging for my students. Teaching Techniques and Methodology: My teaching focuses on proven methods like spaced repetition and active recall to ensure students retain key concepts effectively. I challenge my pupils with more advanced material, helping them build confidence and making their regular work feel easier by comparison. My lessons feature clear explanations, visual cues, and plenty of practical examples to enhance understanding and problem-solving skills. Lesson Structure: Lessons typically last for one hour, which allows us to concentrate on essential topics without overwhelming the student. I can also tailor the length of sessions to suit individual preferences and needs. My Experience and Qualifications: I am a Cambridge master’s graduate with over three years of experience tutoring Mathematics and Physics with ARK Investment Management. In addition, I have delivered lectures to medical students on academic writing and mentored students in preparing for Oxbridge admissions tests. My diverse teaching experience ensures that I can cater to a wide range of learning needs and help students excel in their academic pursuits. Who My Lessons Are For: I teach students preparing for GCSE and A-level exams in Physics and Mathematics.
