About Doris
I am a fifth-year medical student at Cambridge with 2 years of tutoring experience. In my role as a tutor, I hope to empower students, helping them to grow in confidence and become excited about their subjects. I believe that it is easiest to engage with your learning when you feel adequately supported and are given the space to make mistakes. My approach to tutoring involves building a strong foundation of understanding, then reinforcing this through exam practice. Through my own studies I have managed to achieve 4A*s at A-Level and 9 A*s at GCSE.

I specialise in GCSE Maths and Sciences as well as A-Level Biology so provide 1:1 lessons in these subjects. My aim is to identify gaps in knowledge and understanding in order to tailor my approach to each individual student. I also allow for an element of flexibility depending on what the student wants to work on.
