About Parmida
About me I'm Parmida, a master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University, specializing in machine learning and computer vision for synthetic biology. My academic foundation combines computer engineering with diplomas in mathematics and physics - giving me deep expertise across the subjects I teach. My Background Before diving into graduate research, I taught mathematics and English, discovering my passion for breaking down complex ideas into digestible concepts. This experience taught me that great teaching isn't about showing how much you know - it's about organizing information so students can build their own understanding. We begin with a quick diagnostic to see where understanding breaks down. Then I build the concept from scratch using analogies and interactive problem-solving.
