About Alana

Graduated with a Secondary Education Teaching Degree from the USA. SpecIalising in teaching ESL to students from Asia. She spent 10 years teaching and traveling Asia including 2 years in Korea and 8 years in Hong Kong. Now living in the Gold Coast Australia she teaches all age groups in both state and private schools.

About the lesson

Teaching methodology is student centred inquiry based learning. Students discover, explore, create and innovate based on their interests. The teacher provide resources, guidance and facilitates learning. ESL activities are fun, interactive and can be differentiate to meet the needs and abilities for all learners.

All learners develope a growth mindset, a positive attitude, confidence and self-esteem when given the right tools and encouragement to succeed.
