About Geir
I am chartered mechanical engineer with 5 years industrial experience in the energy sector and I am currently in the final year of my PhD at the University of Southampton. I have taught both Inventor and Rhino to 1st year civil engineering students, and provided 1:1 tuition for AutoCAD (2D) and Inventor.

There are some aspects of modelling that are common to all software, and I go through these first. At this stage I tailor my tuition based on what the students are planning on using the software for. For example, a draughtsperson will need to have a good understanding of engineering drawings, whereas a design engineer will want to focus on the modelling rather than drawings.
