About Glauber

I teach 5 years ago. I have had the joy of forming 10 students, some even became professionals for the illustration industry. Currently I have 5 students and everyone has left the beginner level, advancing to the intermediate level - some heading to the advanced level.

About the lesson

I am Professor Glauber Lopes, who works with illustration and comics (author of the comic "Registros", "A Última Fábula" e "Louis de Dampierre"). Graduated in graphic design since 2007, I have experiences with drawing over 20 years. My classes are for people who want to learn to draw just for fun, or for those interested to become professionals. My courses include traditional style / digital (artistic drawing, manga, cartoon and stylized) and painting (gouache, watercolor, oil paint and acrylic). I also give technical drawing course for engineering apprentices. My methods are very specific. There is a linearity in teaching, but I like to focus on the major weaknesses of the student. Thus, his artistic development will be more profitable. Still, the course begins with the construction of the human body, starting at the head, it develops into the body and then study in depth each body element (ears, eyes, hands, feet, etc.). Then we began to study the prospect camp to learn to draw varied, organic environments (forest, field, mountain, etc.) and artificial (cities, streets, buildings, interiors of buildings, etc.), and also includes inserting characters in those environments. Once this study is assimilated, then we will work with paint, and then pass through theory of colors, matching the coloring, color palette and scenario warmth. And finally we reach in composition, which is when the apprentice begin to create your own designs. Practical class with homework, revision and homework assignments. These classes, which can be on-site or remote (via Skype or other online communication program). Priority to students from 14 years. Discount for groups from 2 to 4 students.
