About Carla
Have you or your child always wanted to play an instrument?
I am a friendly, enthusiastic and patient teacher, with over 40 years success in teaching and playing.
I teach on a one-to-one basis from my home in Caerau, Maesteg.
£18 per half hour lesson (£36 per hour)
Play just for fun, or follow a more formal path.
Learn at your own pace, play the music you want, and enjoy a real sense of achievement, as you progress with lessons tailored to your individual needs.
Whatever your level I can help you enjoy making your own music.

I believe strongly that music lessons should be fun! That doesn't mean you don't have to work hard, but once you have learned the basic techniques it is important that you play the music you like. I am happy to arrange any music, whether it is from a book, and mp3 or a video, and arrange it just for you so you can get a real sense of achievement from your lessons, and have a snazzy pat piece to impress your friends with!

The first free lesson with Carla will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
Lessons are generally half an hour long each. This is particularly relevant for new learners, since there is only so much information they can take in at one time, but hour-long lessons are possible for those who are more advanced.
The first online lesson is free, to check that the technical side of things works properly.
Students are requested to give a minimum of 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel a lesson, or the lesson fee is payable in lieu.
