About Linette
Hello! My name is Linette, and I am a classical pianist and private piano teacher originally from Germany.
I began playing the piano at the age of six and have been passionate about music ever since. Throughout my musical journey, I have participated in numerous piano competitions, won several prizes, and performed regularly in concerts. In 2019, I was part of the Einbecker Klavierfrühling Class in Germany. For the final five years of my own musical education, I studied with Prof. Dr. Elena Levit in Hannover, whose guidance greatly influenced both my musicianship and my approach to teaching.
I have three years of experience teaching private piano lessons to children aged 5 to 14 and truly enjoy helping students grow in confidence, discipline, and musical expression. One of my students was awarded First Prize in a piano competition in 2020 as the youngest participant in their category, which remains one of my proudest moments as a teacher.
I particularly enjoy teaching classical music and believe that every student deserves lessons that are tailored to their individual personality, pace, and goals. My aim is not only to teach piano technique but also to inspire a genuine love and appreciation for music that lasts a lifetime.
I teach children from the age of five through gentle, age-appropriate methods focused on rhythm, listening skills, and enjoyment, gradually guiding them towards the piano as they develop. I also warmly welcome teenagers and adults, whether they are complete beginners or returning to the instrument after many years.
Lessons are available in English, German, and Russian and take place in my home in a friendly and supportive environment. I would be delighted to accompany you or your child on your musical journey.

What can you expect from my lessons?
My lessons are tailored to each student's age, personality, and individual goals. I believe that learning the piano should be both enjoyable and rewarding, while building a strong musical foundation and confidence at the keyboard.
For young children (ages 5-6), lessons focus on developing rhythm, listening skills, coordination, and a natural love for music through playful activities and musical games. Once children are ready, I gently guide them towards reading music and playing at the piano.
Older children and teenagers will learn proper piano technique, musical expression, note reading, and interpretation through carefully selected repertoire, with a particular emphasis on classical music. Lessons encourage discipline, creativity, and enjoyment, helping students progress at a pace that suits them.
Adults are equally welcome, whether you are a complete beginner, returning to the piano after many years, or simply learning for personal enjoyment. Lessons are relaxed, supportive, and adapted to your interests and aspirations.
Although I do not currently prepare students for formal graded examinations, I am happy to support motivated students who wish to participate in piano competitions.
Above all, my goal is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for music and help every student discover the joy and confidence that comes from making music.

I offer lesson lengths tailored to each student's age and stage of development to ensure they remain focused, engaged, and enjoy the learning process.
Children aged 5–6
30-minute lesson – £20

45-minute lesson – £30
Lessons take place weekly from my home in a friendly and supportive environment. The recommended lesson length is designed to suit each age group, helping students make steady progress while maintaining enthusiasm and concentration.
