About Jannette

I’m a pianist and teacher who truly loves motivating students and watching them grow—not just as musicians, but as individuals. I teach because it’s fulfilling to help someone unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and express themselves through music in a meaningful way.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on cultivating effective practice habits and developing an expressive touch at the keyboard, helping each student bring their music to life. I have been a full-time piano teacher for five years, working with more than 50 students who have achieved excellent results in ABRSM exams and earned awards in competitions. I find great joy in helping students explore their love for music. I guide them towards developing the confidence, technique, and musical understanding needed to perform with expression and depth. Jannette is a fantastic piano teacher and has made a real impact on my students’ progress. They have made significant improvements in their timing and musicality and have begun to adopt her classical posture and technique. They have made more progress with Jannette than any previous teach which is undoubtedly due to her high level of skill and training. She has such a gentle and encouraging manner and is so soft and positive in her corrections. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
