About Timothy
After serving in Admiral Rickover's nuclear Navy on board a SSBN submarine (ship submersible ballistic nuclear) as a reactor operator and electronic technician for four years (two years training), I graduated from college with a communications degree (B.A). I worked at a radio station and earned a First Class FCC license. From there I tested electronic parts in a laboratory at a company called Vari-L. From there, I worked on installing and maintaining entertainment systems in major hotels in the Denver area for Spectradyne. I then went to work at CompuShop and ComputerLand in building personal computers and then in repairing them. I got a certificate for computer-aided design and illustrating and was the main illustrator for a manual on security, HVAC, and fire prevention systems. I worked at Rocky Flats with engineers in planning a waste disposal and recycling center and then in preparation for shutting down all production there. I worked for years at various companies repairing personal computers and printers including multifunctional office copiers. Taught PC hardware, Microsoft Applications, and business principles for three years and then formed my own company called WilsonTV Associates where we installed security systems and installed classroom theaters. Also built a student canteen with security and computers for hands-on instruction and practical retail purposes. Because of health problems, I had to dissolve the company but got back in the labor force repairing PCs and printers with WorldWide Technical Services until the pandemic and other health problems forced me out. Currently, I have no health problems but I am retired and needing to stay active in the labor force being on a fixed income during inflationary times.
