About
Hello! My name is Fan but you can call me Tim. I am currently a college student in New York City. I first started teaching peers in middle school. Later in high school I actually became a teacher's assistant to multiple math teachers. I was often told that I taught better than our teachers did, but maybe it was just because I was the same age as those I was teaching. I really enjoyed seeing the progress I helped students make after I guided them. I was able to continue this when I worked at a charity program where I taught underprivileged kids in Taiwan via ZOOM, creating slides and presenting to said students. Although my teaching career was short-lived due to college. But now that I am on break, I am able to go back to doing what I love. I hope to see you all soon! And I wish you luck on your mathematical journeys if we don't!

- Lecture, demonstration and discussion methods along with real world examples, role play and short cuts/tricks
- A typical lesson would be: reviewing last classes' work checking for any confusion, starting a new lesson, teaching step by step and stopping for any questions as well as working on any questions you may have from your schoolwork, providing questions to work on and then reviewing those questions, assigning a FEW questions for "homework"
- Given that I'm a college student I feel that I would be better able to connect with younger students as our age gaps aren't too large. I'm very laid back but also able to provide proof of results in your mathematic journey. Also scored a 1400 SAT with a 750 on the 2023 Mathematics portion making me in the top 5% of all mathematical test takers.
- Lessons are for any students from elementary school up until high school.
