About Beibei
M.A. in Statistics at Columbia and B.S. in Math from RPI. I currently work as a quantitative researcher, applying statistical and machine learning methods to financial data, which keeps my own math skills sharp and grounded in real application, not just theory.
I'm patient and detail-oriented, and I care most about making sure a concept truly clicks before moving on. Whether it's a grade-schooler building confidence in math for the first time or a college student working through a tough proof, I tailor my approach to how you think, not a one-size-fits-all method.

I focus on building real understanding, not memorization, since once you see why a method works, formulas stop feeling arbitrary. Lessons start with finding where you're stuck, then we work through problems together, with me asking guiding questions so the reasoning actually sticks.
I hold a B.S. in Math from RPI and an M.A. in Statistics at Columbia University, with research experience applying advanced math to real financial models, so I can connect concepts to where they actually show up later, which helps build genuine interest, not just grades.
I work with all levels: grade school students just building a relationship with math, middle and high schoolers tackling geometry, algebra, trigonometry, or calculus, and college students needing homework help or exam prep in probability, abstract algebra, or real analysis.
