About Vindhya
I’m a student who is going to be studying Computer Science at University, with a strong interest in teaching children and teens. Throughout school I’ve always loved and achieved excellent grades in the sciences and maths. I have been teaching and mentoring for 2+ years with experience from KS1-KS5 and 11+. I also had private tutors in school, so I’m very personable and relatable when it comes to teaching. I’m very enthusiastic about what I do, and I can’t wait to be given the opportunity to help, guide and support a school student!

I start my lessons by reviewing what the student had done in their previous lesson and to consolidate their knowledge or to help them with any difficulties they my still have. Once this is completed, I go on to ask the student about the next topic they would like to do or find difficult. After, I will explain the concept to them and break it down until they are confident and understand the topic. When we have gone through the topic, I would set them some questions to make sure that they understand the topic. I believe that understanding a topic and not just memorising the words is crucial to ensuring that the student is able to answer the questions correctly in exam conditions.
Alongside giving exam questions, extra links to useful videos and resources - I also give out my own notes which I had handwritten and used for my own exams.
