About William

I am a 2nd year Computer Science student studying at Aberystwyth University. I want to help and tutor students as I was unable to receive this kind of support during my GCSEs, and I believe that during GCSEs students should be able to get all the help that they can. I achieved an A* (Level 9) in both Maths GCSEs, and I also achieved this in Computer Science. Whilst I chose not to continue with Maths at a higher level, I find myself using the skills I obtained from GCSE in my Computer Science degree.

About the lesson

I like to teach in a way that makes the lessons interactive, where I will explain a topic to the best of my ability and then provide tasks for the tutee to complete during the lesson. Lessons will typically be an hour - two hours, depending on the topics. I am currently a demonstrator for Computer Science students at Aberystwyth University, helping them with their programming tasks. My lessons are for people that are studying Maths and Computer Science at GCSE level.

Deadly! William communicated well with my son. He knew the questions he needed to ask in order to understand my son's knowledge and ability. William is good at breaking down the mathematical concepts my son is struggling with into clear and methodical steps. I highly recommend William as a maths tutor.
