About Finlay
I'm an academic and driven person who loves to learn and help others understand things. From leading teams of prefects in school to taking part in extra-curricular engineering courses, going above and beyond is always central to what I do. In university, I've made sure to widen what I study and taken modules of philosophy, linguistic science and French.
With an easygoing and friendly attitude, I'm a big believer that learning should be enjoyable! Finding the right way to explain something so that someone really understands is professionally rewarding and hugely useful to learners.

Practical applications are vital for learning! Whether that's past papers or real-world scenarios, learning techniques and content tailored to your needs are a must. Designed to compliment a course (i.e. through school or college), these classes will bolster and reinforce understanding of content to prepare for all-important examinations. I've recently undergone these exams, so have the insider academic experience necessary, and have practical skills from delivering tutoring in diverse subjects such as cello, French and even map-reading! As well as, of course, mathematics-focussed science subjects. My lessons are designed for anyone studying physics at or below Advanced Higher level (or those who simply want to learn more about the fascinating maths underpinning our universe!).
