About Heshneel

My Tutoring Style I believe every student has the potential to excel and learn when given the right guidance and support. My teaching style is highly personalized—time is taken to understand each student's strengths, areas of weakness, and learning style before I modify my lessons to their needs. I integrate concise explanations with practical exercises, visual aids, and real-life examples to make learning interesting as well as effective. For children with special needs, I customize my strategies to render lessons inclusive, positive, and building in confidence. Lesson Plan A typical lesson lasts between 1.5h-2h depending on the age of the child, attention span, and learning needs. I vary between guided instruction and practice, and in younger children or those with higher support needs, I insert breaks and interactive sessions to maintain attention. My Qualifications and Experience I hold a Bachelor in Psychology, which has equipped me with important information regarding learning processes, motivation, and child development. I have over two years of tutoring with students from both special and mainstream needs in Mathematics and Science subjects. In addition, I also had an internship and later worked as an assistant teacher in a special school for people with disabilities, guiding different learners both academically as well as socially. Such experiences have strengthened my ability in effective communication, patience, and adapting methods to different learners. Who I Teach Primary school students in core subjects, particularly Mathematics and Science. Special needs students, with classes professionally designed to their own learning speed and style. Sitting students or seeking to gain confidence in specific subjects.

About the lesson

Short-Term SMART Goals: Organization Goal – Kory will independently prepare his class materials in 4 out of 5 lessons a week within 10 weeks. Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I think to customize my lessons to the unique learning style and learning pace of every student. I use a combination of visual aids, hands-on activities, and step-by-step directions in an effort to deconstruct ideas into smaller, more manageable pieces. I also encourage active participation by asking with guiding questions, providing concrete examples, and providing practice problems. With students with special needs, I adapt materials and use positive reinforcement as a means to build confidence and interest. Typical Lesson Duration: A standard lesson is around 1 to 1.5 hours long, depending on the student's concentration time and subject need. If the students are young or need extra break times, I have smaller and more interactive lessons. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor of Psychology (with relevant study in child development and learning). Over 2 years of tutoring for mainstream and special needs students. Previous experience as an assistant teacher within a special needs school, where I had assisted class instruction and individual student needs. Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are for: Primary school students (all subjects, with a focus on Math and Science). Special needs students (tailor-made lessons in accordance with their individual learning profiles). Students who require extra assistance with fundamental skills, examination revision, or boosting confidence.
