About Alexis
I am currently a Mass Communication student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a strong passion for helping younger students learn with confidence. I enjoy working with children and teenagers, and I am patient, organized, and approachable in my teaching style. With a solid foundation in Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Literature, I aim to support students academically while also helping them build good study habits and critical thinking skills. I believe every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

As a Mass Communication student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, I aim to make my tutoring sessions engaging, structured, and student-centred. For Primary and Lower Secondary Math and Science, I focus on building strong fundamentals through step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and regular practice to strengthen problem-solving skills and confidence. For Upper Secondary Social Studies and English Literature, I guide students in analysing sources and texts critically, developing clear arguments, and improving essay writing techniques. My lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and learning style, with consistent feedback and encouragement to help them improve academically while developing independent study habits.
