About Theva
I am a dedicated and approachable teacher with experience teaching Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Combined Science, and Mathematics to students from Year 7 to Year 11. I have experience with the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE curricula and am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
My tutoring approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner’s needs, ability, and pace. I use clear explanations, guided practice, questioning techniques, real-life examples, and practical activities to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I also incorporate past-year and exam-style questions to strengthen problem-solving and examination skills.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and developing a genuine interest in the subject. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their confidence, understanding, and independent learning skills.
