About Tanveer

I’m someone who has always been driven by a genuine passion for helping others, which is what ultimately led me to pursue a career in Dentistry. That same passion carries through into my teaching. I truly enjoy supporting students, breaking down challenging topics, and watching their confidence grow lesson by lesson.

I wasn’t always the highest achiever—I had to learn how to study effectively, manage exam pressure, and build strong revision habits. Because of that, I understand exactly what many students are going through. I know the frustration of feeling capable but not quite knowing how to reach the top grades. My goal is to guide students through that journey, helping them unlock their potential and achieve results they can be proud of.

As a current Dental student, I also understand the competitive path into Dentistry, Medicine, and other high-demand university courses. I’m able to offer students realistic, personalised guidance on how to build a strong academic profile and choose pathways that genuinely suit their strengths and ambitions.

I’m a firm believer that every student can excel with the right support, consistent effort, and a study approach that works for them. I specialise in helping students overcome self-doubt, build strong study habits, and develop an exam-focused mindset that leads to real, measurable progress.

Parents can also expect a high level of communication and professionalism. I provide regular updates, ensure students feel supported both inside and outside lessons, and create a learning environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

I also hold an Enhanced DBS check, giving parents complete peace of mind.

Teaching isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely care about. Supporting a student’s growth and seeing their confidence transform is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

About the lesson

I offer engaging and fully online GCSE tutoring designed to help students not only understand their subject, but excel in the exam. My teaching is centred around the vital skill of mastering exam questions—from breaking down command words to developing high-mark, exam-style responses with confidence.

Lessons typically run for 1 hour, though I’m always happy to extend sessions depending on the student’s needs and goals. Every lesson is individually tailored, ensuring that each student receives a personalised approach that targets their strengths, supports their weaknesses, and builds long-term confidence.

I bring strong academic credentials to my teaching:

-Multiple Grade 9s and 8s at GCSE

-A*A*A at A-Level

-Internationally recognised Cambridge awards and Chemistry Olympiad accolades

-Current dental student with strong scientific grounding

-2 years of private tutoring experience

-Enhanced DBS check cleared

I work with GCSE students of all levels and year groups, whether they’re aiming for top grades, building foundational understanding, or needing structured support.

Parents also receive weekly progress reports, summarising what has been covered, how the student is improving, and what we will focus on next.

My goal is simple: to help every student achieve the grades they deserve while making learning clear, structured, and confidence-boosting.
