About Priyen

I’ve been tutoring privately for five years and am glad I can help out with subjects that I’m passionate about. I'm really grateful for the support I had growing up and for the effort my students put in —it makes teaching very rewarding! I was a full academic scholar at Harrow School and graduated with a Masters in Design Engineering from Imperial College London. I've also had the pleasure of teaching at Imperial, so you're in safe hands... I’m a big fan of active communication as I want to provide the best support I can and adapt to student needs. About the lesson

I’ll happily help students understand specific topics, as well as how to approach questions and improve exam technique. I teach Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at GCSE level and Key Stage 3. My lessons are 1-2 hours long and should take place at least weekly; they can be remote or in-person (I’m based in Hackney.) I’m also able to set weekly questions, provide revision notes, and mark practice papers if wanted. I usually start with practice questions to help identify which areas to focus on, and then work through these areas with students. Our focus will shift towards specific whole papers as exam season approaches to make sure students are as prepared and comfortable as possible...

Priyen is always on time, always engaged and always looking for ways to stretch my daughters’ knowledge.
