About Andy

Hi, I'm YIHENG LIN, you can also call me Andy! I'm both teaching art and language now! I'm glad to share my skills and knowledge to you and enjoy the happy studying time with you! My MA degree is illustration, and my BA degree is Watercolour, also an assistant in watercolour club at that time. Which means I have a good understanding of art🦾! I'll show you how to use your brush like a magic wand, to illustrate what you are imaging🫧! I will transmit all of these skills into your mind. If you want to learn drawing🪄, sketch, watercolour or just wanna doodle, I promise I won't let you down.

About the lesson

I have had the privilege of instructing a diverse range of students, spanning from young children to adults, beginner to expert level. I have 5 years of experience in teaching art. It brings me immense joy to witness the remarkable progress my students achieve after just a few drawing lessons. In my teaching approach, I prioritise meeting students at their current skill level and wholeheartedly embracing their unique artistic inclinations and preferences. Our lessons are highly interactive, fostering an encouraging and supportive environment that deeply respects and celebrates each pupil's artistic style and personality. While nurturing their individuality, my aim is to enhance their skills and nurture the gratification that comes from creating art successfully. We'll start with a video call, so you can tell me what you are going to achieve, such as drawing your favourite landscapes using incredible style of painting, using software to portray the selfie of yourself with your friends, or just start with a sketch of basic geometric model or matchstick men doodle. Feel free to ask me if you have any question! :)
