All my lessons are data driven. I start my students with a pre-assessment to find out what areas we need to concentrate on. Then I start looking for lessons. There are so many things available to teach specific skills, it's just a matter of finding the right type of thing that interests them. Reading classic literature in a comic or finding online games to practice skills

Teacher of Special Education for 20 years, I've learned the reason I'm good at what I do is because I'm neurodivergent myself. My goal is to get to know my students so I can create individualized lessons based on their interests. I've taught robotics, comic book art, algebra, and basic financial literacy to name a few.
