About Ryan
My name's Ryan and I am a first-year undergraduate student. I'm originally from Los Angeles where I lived until I was 13 years old. I then moved to Dallas where I graduated Salutatorian with a 4.6 GPA. I began tutoring students in Algebra I my Sophomore year.
I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas this August and plan to graduate with two bachelor's degrees in Finance and Electrical/Computer Engineering.

Despite finding math dreadful as a child, I grew to love it as I began to push myself towards understanding the connections among various ideas. Too often schools merely teach how to solve problems, which frequently leaves students stuck when they encounter a problem that doesn't fit the exact conditions of problems they have seen before.
Therefore, I focus on teaching students the concepts associated with mathematical processes before applying them to problem.
