About Lee

I am a recent graduate from Falmouth University where I specialised my BA Drawing degree towards urban sketching, reportage illustration and drawing from imagination. I am very passionate about drawing and love to share my experience, knowledge and passion with others, proving that with practice and the right guidance, anyone can learn to draw.

About the lesson

Learning to draw is the easy part, learning to see is the tricky bit but if you can write your name, you have the foundational skills to draw. I have an advanced understanding of key concepts such as perspective, figure drawing, observational drawing, composition and colour theory as well as a working knowledge of anatomy.

I have designed t-shirts for Bodmin Jail, created animations for Southdown Duvets, taught urban sketching for Etchr as well as numerous other private commissions. I aim to equip you with the skills to draw anything, rather than specialising in one area.

As well as traditional mediums, I am also experienced in Photoshop and Illustrator, having an Adobe Certified Associate in each and I am an Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design. If you are applying to an art school or university, I am also able to offer portfolio advice.
