My Teaching Style
I like to keep things straightforward and adaptable. Everyone learns differently, so I focus on figuring out what works best for each student. Whether it’s simplifying a tough concept, practicing problem-solving together, or just creating a supportive space for questions, my goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more manageable.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
I usually start by going over what we’ve worked on before, just to make sure everything’s clicking. From there, we’ll dive into new material or any specific challenges you’re facing. I like to keep things interactive—lots of examples, discussions, and practice problems to really solidify the concepts. We’ll wrap up by reviewing key takeaways and setting small goals for next time.

What Makes Me Different
1. Real-World Experience: As a Duke student on a full ride, I’ve had to master how to learn effectively, and I know how to share those skills with others.
2. Relatable and Understanding: Coming from a low-income immigrant background, I know what it’s like to face challenges and work hard for opportunities. I try to bring that perspective into my teaching—helping students not just with academics but also with confidence and motivation.
3. Personalized Approach: I make sure each session fits your needs. Whether it’s prepping for a test, catching up on tough subjects, or going beyond the basics, we’ll focus on what matters most to you.

Who I Teach
I mostly work with elementary to middle school/beginning of high school students. Whether you're preparing for AP exams, the SAT, or just trying to keep up with your classes, I’ve got you covered.

Why Work With Me?
I’ve been in your shoes—struggling with big goals and figuring out how to get there. I know how intimidating academics can feel, but I also know how to break things down and make them doable. Plus, I genuinely enjoy helping people learn and succeed. If you’re looking for someone who’s patient, adaptable, and knows how to get results, I’m here to help.
