Effective and experienced Maths Tutor Maths teacher at Durham - James

I have known James for 10 years. As a colleague in a very academic department, he stood out not only as being an extremely capable practitioner in the classroom, but also as an exceptional mathematician, having an in-depth knowledge of the full spectrum from KS3 right up to A-Level Further Mathematics and also into some material of undergraduate degree standard. James has high expectations, and the students he has taught have been appreciative and respectful of the efforts he has taken to teach them.

James was an outstanding maths teacher when I worked with him at Yarm school. He was very well respected by pupils and teachers alike and has an excellent record of results at A level and GCSE. He was instrumental in the Oxbridge application process too. James is honest, reliable and willing to go that extra mile at all times.
