About Kylee
I'm Kylee! I am a current undergraduate at the University of California: San Diego, with a love for teaching. I love answering questions and engaging with students, as well as getting to see that "aha!" moment when a student finally understands a topic. I have been teaching and tutoring for multiple years now.

As a student, I know firsthand the struggles that come with learning a specific subject without having the right teacher teaching. I know that personally, I respond best to teachers who are willing to answer many questions and are open to engagement, and especially in math, teachers who focus on the reasoning behind mathematics and strategies of approaching challenges, not just the formulas! With multiple years of experience, I prefer to teach in this mode: with high student interaction, and by approaching questions with step-by-step help personalized to where a student struggles most.
Because I know learning success is very dependent on the individual teaching, I also welcome all suggestions along the way to modify my approach and cater it toward a student's learning style.
I specialize in mathematics from elementary school to high school, as well as a little bit beyond (college Calculus). I have experience teaching preschool mathematics, all the way to AP Calculus! Please reach out if you have any clarifying questions about my teaching, experience, or specialities.
