About Adam
Hey, I'm Adam!
Is your child struggling with Maths? Are they unable to engage with their teachers & learning? Well, I am here to help change that.
As an Apprentice studying for my Level 6 Financial Services qualification, I understand the most common frustrations & stresses your child faces today:
1) Growing pressure to face harder, more robust exams.
2) Feeling not good enough because of your ‘set’.
3) Overwhelmed with homework/revision from every single class.
Together, we can work through these emotions and focus on what really matters - their Maths!
WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU:
With experience leading KS2 lessons, you can be confident that your child’s needs will be adapted to and tailored for.
Many Maths lessons at school are generic and move at the pace of the syllabus - our private 1-1 sessions will ensure that content is targeted and more difficult areas are prioritised to give the best chance of success!

HOW WE WILL DO IT:
In our initial free 15 minute chat, you’ll tell me what areas you’d like to focus on and if there’s anything in particular I can do to help maximise your child’s grade.
We’ll establish a learning plan that will adapt over time as I get to know your child’s learning style. I find the best results come from when lessons are student-led - I’ll encourage them to bring topics they struggle with to our 1-1s.
Don’t worry! Any homework from our sessions is not essential to complete, but highly recommended. I understand children have different capacities when it comes to homework; this is something we will work on within our sessions.
MY EXPECTATIONS:
Although I said homework is not essential, that does not mean your child won’t be stretched! I expect all my pupils to arrive to our sessions with the following:
- A space suitable for learning (whether online or in-person).
- Equipment to learn (notepad, pen, calculator etc).
- An open-mind to learning.
