About Viveka
I am Viveka, an Engineering Graduate and current Master of Information Systems student at the University of Melbourne with professional experience as an Embedded Software Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. My academic background and industry experience have given me strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills that I bring into my tutoring sessions.
I am passionate about helping students understand concepts clearly and develop confidence in their abilities. My teaching style is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. I focus on building strong foundations, encouraging curiosity, and helping students approach challenges with confidence.
With experience working in a professional engineering environment, I understand the importance of logical thinking, consistency, and practical application of knowledge. Whether students need help strengthening their fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, or preparing for assessments, I provide a supportive and engaging learning experience.

With an engineering background and professional experience as an Embedded Software Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., along with my current Master of Information Systems studies at the University of Melbourne, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world industry experience into my lessons. I have a strong foundation in Mathematics, Programming, Computer Science, and technology-related subjects.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are structured around concept explanation, guided practice, problem-solving exercises, and personalised feedback. I encourage students to ask questions and develop independent learning skills rather than relying only on memorisation.
My lessons are suitable for primary and high school students who want support with Mathematics, Science, Programming, Computer Science, or general academic improvement.
