About Eliot
My name is Eliot. I'm a French engineering student, currently in the second year of the engineering cycle at ESEO, where I specialize in electronics, digital systems and computer science. I'm in Dublin for a six-month internship with a software development team, and I tutor alongside it in the evenings and at weekends.
I started tutoring in February 2026 and have kept it up since, because I find it genuinely satisfying. Math and physics have a reputation for being subjects you're either built for or you're not, and I don't think that's true. Almost every student I've worked with who believed they were "bad at math" had simply missed one specific idea two years earlier, and everything built on top of it collapsed. Finding that idea and repairing it changes how they see the whole subject — that moment is the reason I keep teaching.
Alongside my studies I've also worked as a project manager in a junior enterprise, dealing with clients and deadlines, which is a polite way of saying I turn up when I say I will and I prepare before a lesson rather than improvising during it. Parents can expect clear feedback on where their child actually stands.

secondary school students, roughly ages 12 to 18, from Junior Cycle up to Leaving Cert (Ordinary and Higher Level) in math and physics. I also teach the French curriculum, from collège to terminale, including spé maths and physique-chimie, for students at the Lycée Français d'Irlande or following CNED.
