About Luda
I am a civil engineering student at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington State. I've always loved math and want to be able to encourage others in their mathematical journey. I love to read (I know, very nerdy lol) and I have four amazing cats that I love dearly. I want my lessons to be something to look forward to rather than a "chore" of sorts. I understand how frustrating math can be when instructors go too fast or just skip over concepts entirely claiming it's "common sense," I want to actively encourage my students to stop me and ask questions when they have them, I want to answer each and every question until the student is fully confident in their abilities.

I am willing to help with homework and aid in studying for tests. I will put together a lesson plan that includes the theory behind the concepts used at an appropriate level for the student. Throughout my schooling I always found examples to be the way I learned best so I will incorporate as many examples as necessary for the student. I believe that math should be fun rather than stressful and I will actively work to ensure that whilst a concept must be "tricky" it is not frustrating. I am willing to work with students at any level between basic addition/subtraction all the way to calculus.

Tuesdays - Mornings until 7:30am, then after 4:00pm

Deadly! My daughter really enjoys her lessons with Luda. She simplifies her math problems so she can understand them completely.
Deadly! Explains how to do the math is a way my son can relate to. Offers alternate ways to think about them and check if they are correct. Super nice and engaging and makes studying math enjoyable!
