About Havelie
I have always been passionate about helping my classmates and peers with school. I find true joy in helping others learn and understand topics, and am excited to continue teaching. As a student who graduated High School one year ago, I understand the demands of being a student in Middle and High School, while also being able to share study tricks and habits that have helped me succeed in my first year of university! Whether you are preparing for a test or exam, or are looking to gain a better understanding of one or many topics, I am here to help you!

My main goal when teaching students is creating a safe environment for learning, by building strong connections with students. I put a special focus on taking time to understand a student's learning style, and what they need from my lessons to succeed. My general approach to helping others understand topics is asking questions that allow them to reflect and come up with answers, while providing my support along the way. This provides students with a pathway to learning material and building their confidence, while having somebody by their side every step of the way. Because every student has different ways of learning, my approach for everyone may be different, whether that be more practice problems, more lecture-style learning etc.
