About Adrianna
I am a first-year Business Finance major with a strong passion for mathematics. My academic journey has provided me with a solid foundation in quantitative analysis and financial concepts. I have created comprehensive lesson plans for grades 5-10 that focus on enhancing students’ mathematical skills through engaging and interactive activities. Each plan is designed to cover key concepts such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability. For instance, one lesson involves using real-world data to teach statistics, where students analyze trends and create visual representations of information. Another plan includes geometry projects that require students to apply their knowledge of area and volume by designing blueprints for structures inspired by historical landmarks. These lessons not only strengthen mathematical understanding but also promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and the application of math in everyday situations.
I have designed lesson plans for kindergarten through 10th grade students that explore global themes, combining creativity with academic learning. I’ve developed STEM-focused activities for countries such as Brazil, Nepal, Ghana, Greece, and Iceland, tailoring the content to be engaging and age-appropriate. These lessons often involve interactive exercises, hands-on projects, and cross-curricular learning, such as exploring Ghana’s Mole National Park or the mountains of Dubai. Each plan emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of both cultural and scientific concepts.
