About John

Hello, my name is John, I'm 36 years old, and I'm passionate about helping people learn and reach their full potential. I love to learn and develop my skills! I'm enthusiastic and I fully believe that learning should be an enjoyable task, so I also aim to make it as entertaining as possible, whether that be injecting some humour into the session or trying to create a session based on the individual's hobbies and interests. I am based in Christchurch, in Dorset UK, but I am willing to teach online as well. I am rather flexible and very reliable. I have an Honours degree in Graphic arts from the University of Southampton. I am also a qualified classroom assistant and have worked in many schools in the South East Bournemouth & Poole on a supply basis. I have also trained for the Tesol ITTC South East, Bournemouth during school holidays and I have undertaken full-time job in a local school helping three GCSE and A Level students with their learning, hoping to improve their confidence in the classroom. I run free English conversation club and IELTS speaking class 1to1 for fun to improve my knowledge and I will always give my all every club I am involved in!

About the lesson

I am a flexible and an adaptable person, experienced in working with international teams, in cross-cultural contexts, both in the public and private sectors. As a teaching assistant, I created a wide range of materials for teaching.
