As a professional educator, my aim is to guide students towards achieving their academic potential and becoming confident individuals in the process. Having extensive experience in teaching such subjects as English, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension, I prepare exciting and effective lessons in order to ensure that all the knowledge and skills are acquired and can be applied on one's own.

I'm convinced that any student has the necessary potential to succeed; they just need adequate support and encouragement in order to reveal all the hidden talents. The lesson plan and its implementation always depends on student's individuality and is well-thought-out in order to maximize benefits. All the classes take place in the atmosphere of mutual respect and professionalism.

About the lesson

My Approach To Teaching and My Teaching Methods & Techniques

I consider my style of teaching as being student-oriented, engaging and interactive. In my opinion, children should be taught in an interesting way so that lessons would be exciting, engaging and relatable for kids. Therefore, I use various teaching techniques such as guided practices, discussions, playing games, using pictures or other types of visual materials, reading activities and using educational resources on the computer in order to address different learning styles. Moreover, in each lesson, I follow the pace of children and make sure that they understand everything before proceeding to new topics.

A Typical Lesson Plan

In general, a lesson plan might include:

Warm Up (5-10 min) – review of the topics covered previously or another kind of warm-up exercise to activate kids' existing knowledge.
Introduction (10-15 min) – direct explanation and examples of new topics.
Guided Practice (15-20 min) – collaborative work and discussion.
Independent Practice (10-15 min) – tasks for application of newly acquired knowledge.
Evaluation and Feedback (5-10 min) – quick assessment of children's knowledge.
Homework (optional).
