About Bethany
I’m Bethany, a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist living in Robertson. I work across portraiture, painting, drawing and native botanical illustration, always following curiosity wherever it leads me.
I recently held my first solo exhibition, where three of my paintings found their forever homes. I also have experience providing personalized, one-on-one art lessons to people with disability and high support needs, adapting each lesson to suit their energy, mobility, communication and individual way of learning.
As a neurodivergent artist, I understand that everyone thinks, learns and creates differently. I want my lessons to feel calm, encouraging and free from judgment. Art has a funny way of stitching things back together again, and I’d love to help others find their own confidence, joy and voice through creating.

My lessons are relaxed, encouraging and shaped around what you want to create. I break each artwork into clear, manageable steps and demonstrate techniques as we work, helping you build confidence without feeling rushed or judged.
Lessons can cover drawing, portraiture, acrylic painting, watercolour pencil, botanical illustration, colour mixing and developing your own artistic style. Sessions usually run for 60 to 90 minutes and are available online or in person.
I am a self-taught multidisciplinary artist with experience exhibiting and selling original artwork, alongside providing personalised one-to-one art lessons. My classes are best suited to beginners, emerging artists, older teenagers and adults, including neurodivergent students who benefit from patient, flexible and visually explained instruction.
