About the lesson

My approach as a tutor is individualized, practical, and encouraging. I begin by understanding each student’s current skill level, goals, learning style, and any areas where they feel stuck. From there, I combine clear instruction with hands-on practice, real-world examples, constructive feedback, and achievable milestones so students build both competence and confidence.

A typical lesson begins with a brief check-in and review of prior work, followed by a focused concept or skill-building exercise. I then guide the student through practical application—whether that is a design project, creative problem-solving exercise, portfolio piece, wellness-related topic, or technology-based assignment—and end with feedback, a clear next step, and optional work to complete before the next session.

What sets me apart is the breadth of my experience as both an educator and a working professional. I have taught undergraduate and graduate-level curricula in design, technology, wellness, and fine arts, while also building and leading businesses in luxury wellness, hospitality, and medical-device environments. I help students connect academic concepts to real-world expectations, professional standards, creative confidence, and career opportunities.

My lessons are well suited for high school, undergraduate, graduate, adult, and professional learners. I especially enjoy supporting students in digital design, advertising, creative development, wellness, personal growth, presentation skills, portfolio development, and practical business or entrepreneurial thinking. I adapt the pace and structure of each session to the student, whether they need foundational support, help completing a specific assignment, or advanced guidance on a larger project.
